Welcome from the Dean
Business from a Higher Perspective
is a way of thinking at the School of Business at Green Hills University. We go beyond reacting to fads in
education that come and go with the latest headlines. Ours is a vision of ethical leadership rooted in the School's founding
mission that began so many years ago.
Because the challenges in today's global economy are enormous and always
evolving, having management professionals educated in business from a higher perspective makes more sense than ever. That's
why undergraduate, graduate and working professionals who want to be successful business leaders choose Green Hills University
- they know that being the best in the world now means being the best for the world.
a premier business school, we offer a distinctive education marked by strong engagement with our alumni and the business community
as well as innovative and transformational programs for our students. Our faculty includes outstanding scholars from some
of the finest Ph.D. programs in the country, many with considerable business experience. Speaking of which, our faculty also
includes practitioners and executives-in-residence who have lived our ethical values as senior leaders in top corporations.
This mix of faculty is second to none and provides critical balance for not only generating new knowledge but being able to
apply it. Indeed, our goal is to teach our students how best to bridge theory and practice, both inside and outside of the
classroom. Along the way, the School of Business has met the most rigorous standards of excellence for institutions worldwide
- standards that define what it means to be the best in business education.
As we prepare to educate and transform
students for the next 100 years, we will exceed the needs and expectations of the business world and the demands of a new
generation of students, especially when it comes to ethics, sustainability and good corporate citizenship. Leading corporations
will continue to welcome Green Hills students as professionals whose vision, knowledge and skills are best suited for the
new opportunities of value creation in the next century. I look forward to working with everyone - from our students, faculty,
and staff to our supporters in the alumni and business communities - as we take the School to new heights in our second
century of delivering outstanding business education.
